A6 meets with European Commission

At a high level meeting with the European Commission represented by Filip Cornelis, Director for Aviation DG MOVE, supported by Maria De Las Flores, Head of Single European Sky Unit and Erki Must in Brussels Philipp Piber, Chair A6 Alliance, Arndt Schoenemann, Chair CANSO EC3 and Enrique Maurer, Chair EUROCONTROL NMB, talked about the main areas facing European air traffic management.

Among the topics discussed were the future of SESAR and the implementation of the ATM Masterplan including the New Service Delivery Model as well as further advancing the Digital European Sky.
“We had a very constructive discussion. It came clear that all partners share a strong ambition to further accelerate the modernization of ATM and working hand in hand to deliver tangible results for Europe’s connectivity, sustainability and competitiveness. I can say with confidence, that we are on the same page, when it comes to lifting European ATM to the next level and ensuring safe, efficient and environmentally friendly air travel for future generations”, said Philipp Piber after the meeting.
