A6 Steering Board meets at Airspace World 2026 in Lisbon
The A6 Steering Board gathered during Airspace World 2026 in Lisbon to review the Alliance’s strategic priorities and discuss key developments shaping the future of European air traffic management.
The meeting brought together the CEOs of the A6 Alliance members to reaffirm their shared commitment to supporting the modernisation of Europe’s ATM system through close cooperation and coordinated action.
A key focus of the discussions was the review of the A6 strategic priorities and the progress achieved across important European initiatives. The Steering Board received status updates on Common Project 2 (CP2) and the development of the New Service Delivery Model (NSDM), both of which remain central to the transformation of the European ATM landscape.
The future of SESAR was another major topic on the agenda. Building on recent exchanges with key European stakeholders, the Steering Board reflected on ongoing discussions regarding the future framework for ATM innovation and deployment in Europe. The meeting also served to align views on the next steps and the continued contribution of the A6 Alliance to the evolution of SESAR and the wider Single European Sky objectives.
The discussions underlined the importance of strong collaboration between air navigation service providers, European institutions, industry partners, and other stakeholders to ensure a sustainable, resilient, and efficient ATM system for the future.
